Caitlin Flanagan no longer at The New Yorker
So I know this news is a little old, but worth mentioning: Looks like the New Yorker has booted anti-feminist Caitlin Flanagan. Hopefully they'll replace her with another female contributor who does actual reporting rather than steal others' work and spew anti-feminist bile.
Now instead of producing articles about teenage whores who have oral sex, Flanagan says she'll be focused on writing books on the subject. As Gawker put it, "Cum-Guzzling MySpace Sluts should be available sometime in 2008."

Wait a minute here! Her book has only sold 8700 copies? Holy crap, how the Hell did she get to be considered "relevant" with sales like that? And didn't she get some obscene amount of money when she signed her book deal? Jaysus.
Women like Flanagan have that "I got mine" attitude about them.
Yeah, DD. Like my grandma used to say about some of her friends, "Now their bellies are full, they turn into Republicans."
Man this woman complains that feminsts hire nanies to do all of the household chores, while they actually work. This woman does the same exact thing...Except, that she does absolutely nothing! This woman is a hypocritical misogynistic servant who has no respect for herself at all! I'm glad that she was kicked off of the New Yorker. Hopefully, the'll choose a woman with some sort of backbone!
To me, (a guy) the interesting thing about Flanagan is how low an opinion of men her writings tended to assume.
I didn't appreciate being told I was a large baby-like creature who my wife had to cater to with little lies, clothes-washing and sympathy fucks or else I might feel bad.
Sandra Tsing Loh put a pretty heavy hit on Flanagan about her holier then thou nanny and mommying posture in the Atlantic a while back.

It's pathetic -- every year or so there's a new book, written by an author who got a huge advance, about very upscale women with highly successful careers and why they're miserable and they're destroying Western civilization. These books have big first printings and every time one of them is published it makes the front page of The New York Times and is written about everywhere.
Yet these books never, ever sell. And then there's a new round of stories about the bafflingly poor sales.
It never occurs to the publishing industry that most women aren't very, very upscale, that most women can't choose to leave their jobs, and that very successful women probably don't have the time or inclination to read a book that says they're miserable and they're a menace to society.
Is Joan Acocella still there?
To understand as a whole character of the Roman architecture, the reason occurrence of the huge smart areas, large entertainment buildings and memorial ensembles, it is necessary to understand in socially - an economic life of Ancient Rome.
