But the 40-year-old former heavyweight champ promised an entertaining show Friday night when he launches the "Mike Tyson's World Tour" in Youngstown.At a news conference at an Italian restaurant, Tyson said he would likely go just four rounds and that future stops on the tour might include bouts with women, possibly professional boxer Ann Wolfe.
Wolfe, from Waco, Texas, is 21-1 with 15 knockouts.
"She's such a prominent, dominant woman in the boxing field," Tyson said.
When asked if he was joking about fighting women, Tyson said, "I'm very serious."
As Zuzu points out, not only is this completely nasty because of Tyson's history of domestic violence and sexual assault, but it also ignores a little thing called weight class.
Wolfe's promoter Russ Young, said, "No state would sanction that. She would be outweighed by 60 to 70 pounds. Ann would never entertain the idea."
But, Tyson implores, "It's all fun." Clearly.
Oh, and if you're not content getting beat up by Tyson for charity, you can now be the lucky girl who gets to pay to have sex with him.

Well, I'm conflicted... Sure, we're smaller and it's disgusting, but on the other hand, I'd love for some woman to get a chance to punch him in the nose. Or the nuts.
And all of us here in the Youngstown area are just happy if tickets sell for events at the Chevrolet Center. What has the world come to?

well i did comment on how im pretty sure this was just a weird publicity gimmick. an i mentioned you can also pay to have sex with vincent gallo. ive commented on a few blogs and none of my comments have gone up. can someone tell me why? (is it my computer?)
This shouldn't be talked about as "ohh, he wants to fight women" IMO - just that he wants to fight someone out of his weight group. I would LOVE for the boxers to integrate.
Except he is entirely capable of killing someone 60-70 pounds lighter. Shades of MDB...
Right. Part of me is seeing a Billie Jean King potential here, where Tyson gets KO'd by a female boxer, but the weight class disparities could literally be lethal.
Tyson is out of his mind, and a danger to fighters in his own weight class--not because he's an especially good boxer (who can name the last time he was championship material?), but because he does things like BITE PEOPLE'S FRIGGIN EARS OFF if he's losing.
