Dumb "women" headlines of the day!

When I search for articles pertaining to women, I find a number of stories that have humorous, sexist, and/or dumb headlines that I feel like are too humorous, sexist and/or dumb not to share with others. Here are my three favorite of the day:

"Flip-Flops Damaging To Women’s Careers"
(Fuck the glass ceiling, flip-flops are ruining us all!!!)

"Men’s and women’s tastes in food surprisingly similar"
(I thought women only like quiches and men only like pork chops!)

"Even skinny blonde women need love"
(Self-explanatory.)

"An online survey held by Gap and Old Navy showed that college high schools students rated flip-flops as the number one on the list of items to wear to work.

However, several company policies feel they're inappropriate."---

yes, because flip flops determine how well you do your job...duh...every executive is so focused on people's feet that if you dare to bare your toes, they'll spin into a tizzy and walk you to the door.

"According to research tracking how Americans have eaten for the past 26 years, women are full of surprises. Their second choice: burgers, followed by pizza"---

What?!? No! I've NEVER seen a woman eat pizza or burgers. Well I'll be damned...thank goodness for 26 years worth of research.

"I find it helpful to have a few non-physical traits on the list, just in case you want to have the occasional conversation with the person, but that could just be me"---

At least the author gets some rub in on this dork who asks "It may be superficial, but I'm not attracted to women who are not blond and thin. Do you think this is a problem?"

Honestly, is that question not a waste of internet space?

To be fair, from the response written below it, the third title appears deliberately mocking.

Holy shit, did you read the "skinny blonde women" article?

Dear Dating Girl: My friends say I'm too picky when it comes to women. I have very specific physical tastes. I'm only attracted to thin, blond women. It may be superficial, but I'm not attracted to women who are not blond and thin. Do you think this is a problem? -- Slim Pickings

Dear Slim: I guess it's not a problem as long as blond, thin women are attracted to you. And hey, blond, thin women need to be loved, too. It might as well be by someone who appreciates them.

It's dry snark, but it's definitely snark.

the flipflop article is incredibly stupid. it looks like they googled "flipflop" and tried to piece together the top three hits into a coherent story.

they failed.
