Because I'm tired and have nothing else to post

Check out what happens on The View when Sandra Bernhard dares to question the Bush administration and their policies towards women. All hell breaks loose when she makes a (funny) comment about thinking Laura is "heavily medicated." Elisabeth Hasselbeck (who the AV Club appropriately calls The Young Annoying One) turns into a frigging banshee.

I hate that show!! I've only seen it once and little miss blondie there dared to say that Michael Moore makes "mockumentaries" (can you hear the jaw dropping to the floor??) They went on to make all kinds of other sweeping stereotypes about women and relationships (always about hetero relationships).

I will give it one more chance when Rosie goes on...

I read on wikipedia that one of the reasons Hasselback was brought onto the show was that it was being criticized as not being conservative enough (Hasselback spoke at the 2004 RNC). However bringin her in didn't quell the criticism, conservatives are still upset the show doesn't reflect their views enough.

Apparently the show runs on ABC (I dont watch it). Now, when liberals complain there aren't enough opposing voices on Fox News, do you think they'd bring in more liberals? LOL to that.

Hasselbeck! I can’t stand her. In fact, she seems vaguely reminiscent of a young woman straight out of Alexandra Robbins book, Pledged. (I think I got the tip to read that book from this website, thanks.) UGH! I was watching The View one morning when they started discussing whether or not a young unmarried teacher in a Catholic school, who became pregnant, should be fired. Hasselbeck went off on how teaching in a private school was her choice. (To which someone did comment, at least she had a choice, ha) I would like Ms. Hasselbeck to be sent on a special edition to El Salvador in order to study the power of the Catholic Church. Her upbringing did not necessarily include the economic strength of the powerful religious institutions which strives to eliminate basic women’s rights across the globe. If Ms. Hasselbeck had an eptopic pregnancy would she like to lie on a gurney for several hours waiting for her tubes to erupt before they are legally able to perform a DNC? Thanks to the Catholic Church women in poor countries suffer. The church should not be allowed to discriminate against women. AND for heaven’s sakes, look at the population explosion in Mexico!!!! Why don’t we start talking regime change with Mexico.. ugh em….replace the government with Planned Parenthood.
I used to like Laura Bush. I read the Edna Ferber books, all of them like she did. Giant is great, actually. However, my respect for her has faded and Sandra had every right to blast her. She allows the administration to use her when they need her. Like during the election she said she was for abortion but Bush was not. Like during the beginning of the war when she spoke out against the subjection of women in Iraq in a radio address, but now she falls silent. Ms. Hasselbeck and Laura Bush can be republican Hagar’s if they want. I would rather be a republican woman for women. Thanks for letting me rant, and you girls are great!

Quite honestly, they are all annoying - and I think it rubs off on the guests. At some point, they have all acted like that when a guest says something they disagree with.

Haha, honestly, I cannot stand this show! And, that video clip shows exactly why!
