Microsoft gives $1 million to get women in IT
Microsoft has given a $1 million dollar grant to the the National Center for Women and Information Technology (NCWIT) in an attempt to recruit more women into IT fields.
Microsoft claimed that it is supporting NCWIT to help address "critical shortages" of females in the talent pipeline, from getting young girls interested in science and technology through advanced education in computer science, computer engineering and related disciplines.
Awesome.

Could it be possible that women are just not that interested in IT? (On average).
Sigh. Of course throwing million dollar grants at the problem might change some women's minds.
Hardly seems fair though to actively favor one gender over the other in the competition for jobs.
Oh, silly me! I forgot that magically waving the Diversity Wand makes fairness issues disappear in a puff of smoke.
An it's illegal to offer only men money to go into K thru 12 education, nursing, or any female dominated field.
Feminism at it's highest.
Who's donating money to get men into POST SECONDARY! Let alone IT??
Sigh.
