A question

Is this what happens when creepy guys don’t have enough cash for a Real Doll “girlfriend”?

Um, no, that's what happens when Hollywood screenwriters can't come up with any original ideas and they re-write Pygmalion with a modern twist to it.

Then again, now that I think of it, I suppose there is something eerily Pygmalionesqe about those real dolls. I wonder how many owners are hoping that the goddess of love will bestow life on their cyberskin girlfriends like she did with Galatea... after all, who could hope for a better girlfriend? She's beautiful, quiet and she'll let an ugly guy do whatever he wants to her whenever he likes.

Then again, like a mail-order bride she'd probably ditch his ass the moment someone better came along.
