A Christian group calling itself "The Resistance" wants Jessica Simpson to apologize for her "slutty" video of "These Boots are Made for Walking" and re-shoot a clean version. The group objects to Simpson's racy antics in the vid, especially because her father was a pastor and she's a Christian role model. "It's sad to see her whore herself out like this," declares the group's, rep "John Conner" (he won't divulge his real name). "She's a singing stripper." The Resistance has also blasted MTV for "celebrating the homosexual agenda."
Now I’m not into censorship, and I’m definitely not into wacky groups calling women sluts.
But honestly, this video is sooo depressing and terrible. It’s borderline pornographic, complete with Simpson washing (humping) a car in a bikini. I just can’t believe that 13 year-old girls are going to watch this.
Not to mention how Simpson has completely killed Nancy Sinatra’s original.

God, she and her creepy father are such hypocrites. They shove this I-was-a-virgin-until-I-married crap down our throats and then she makes a music video that even got ME horny and I'm a straight woman. I guess its okay to wash cars in your bikinis when you're MARRIED, but God forbid you should be so slutty as to do that without a chastity ring around your finger to make you pure!

This reminds me though, have you heard the remix of Gwen Stefani's "Hollaback Girl"? It features some rapped (Fat Joe I think) talking about how he's gonna marry her, but only for a few minutes, and then he'll divorce her when he... "finishes". I can't find the exact lyrics right now but I was disgusted.

As the pseudonymity of their flack suggests, The Resistance isn't exactly "Christian" so much as "batshit insane" or possibly "a prank." The front page of their Web site references the whackjob-created Clinton death list
Jess does make a fine Daisy. I wouldn't want her calves after walking around in those shoes all day, though.

My guess is that since Waylon Jennings wrote the theme song, Willie thought it would be cool. That's the only thing I can think.
Can't stand this girl. She is so generic and lacking in any sex appeal that goes beyond bouncing boobies, exessive tanning and picture perfect people pleaser makup. Not my cup of tea. Never mind what she did to that song or the way she is the puppet for her derainged father. One question though. What is so wrong about acting slutty. Its actually alot of fun.
I ran into this website by accident, but it makes me sick how you all judge Jessica Simpson by this music video. I think she is old enough now that she can make decisions on her own, and if she wants to be sexy, then leave it at that. If she doesn’t want to have that “goody-goody” image anymore, then leave her alone. We all have are own opinions about things, but why waste your time on a music video. What is it going to change? Most people, to be honest, don’t care about what you are saying. I took the video by surprise myself, but I didn’t take the time to slam her into the ground for it. The media is going to do what it wants, regardless what you say.
i think that all you guys trash talking jessicas new music video need to get over it! just because she is married doesnt mean she still cant be sexy! this music video did take me by suprise too but i think that she is old enough to do what she wants and she wanted to do this so leave her alone! hey and if you dont like it,, heres something,, DONT WATCH IT OR DONT LISTEN TO THE SONG,, if it bothers you that much just dont get involved,, you are making a much bigger deal about it than it is worth! she is a 25 year old woman who is known to be a sex symbol, thats how people are labeling her and so thats how shes acting,, and i dont hear any of you guys complaining about britney spears or anyone else, dont be so jealous!
