Want some tits with that?

Why get your lunch from a regular old delivery person? A new Colorado business, Toasty Chicks Delivery, plans to have women in "snug T-shirts" deliver lunches from area restaurants.

Even better: the company was formed in response to hundreds of construction workers coming to Aspen this summer to work on a large ski resort. Delivering lunches to a construction site in a snug shirt? Sounds like loads of fun.

I'm almost less disturbed about the tight tees than I am about the name of the company--what is so toasty about these women? Do they have super-human body heat?

Well, along with prostitution, if women want to do it, let 'em do it. Do they also hire men, I wonder?

Definitely. And I think it's more cheesy than offensive.

I don't think "toasty chicks" applies to men. But who knows.

I view this with mixed feelings. It does seem to be exploiting women as sex objects (voyeur objects to be exact), and I would wonder about potential delivery-girl safty issues.

Yet as Madelaine notes, if there are women who want to who am I to object. After all Hooters does not seem to be lacking in employee's.

I must confess, just so you know a little about me: Tits is a Moopaw alert word, and I will always read an entire post if a Moopaw alert word is in the title.

Our entire society buys and sells bodies constantly(most, but not all, women) from billboards and TV to movies and internet pop-ups.

I have an uneasy feeling that this has something to do with our high rape stats. If you can buy and sell something, how much worse is stealing it?

That women will do this sort of work says more about the position of women in society than whether or not it's OK. Most of the people living in poverty in this country are women and children.

Many of the women working in the sex industry were sexually abused as children, and so may have some confusion about "healthy" relationships between consenting adults. Meaning no disrespect to any survivor, I'm not sure they should be our barometer of acceptable behavior.

But disrespect to women in the sex industry, no biggie.

I doubt this business is going to do much. You pay extra to have your sandwich delivered by a woman in a "snug shirt" so you can kind of stare at her tits for, what, sixty seconds?

Definitely. And I think it's more cheesy than offensive.games
