Lumberjack sues after catching girl cooties

Oh how I wish I was joking on this one.

A Croatia [sic] lumberjack claims he started 'enjoying housework and knitting' after he was given a female kidney.

Stjepan Lizacic, 56, from Osijek, is suing his local health authority because he says he's become a laughing stock. He says his life changed from enjoying heavy drinking sessions with pals to prefering [sic] housework after the operation.

He told local newspaper 24sata: "The kidney transplant saved my life, but they never warned me about the side effects. "I have developed a strange passion for female jobs like ironing, sewing, washing dishes, sorting clothes in wardrobes and even knitting."

You hear that guys? You better watch out; only macho-man organ transplants from now on! Just think--even if a chick bleeds on you, you may be suddenly inclined to buy shoes or have an inexplicable desire to bear children. Shudder.

Kudos to anyone who knows where the above still is from. (Or is it too easy?)

"I cut down trees, I wear high heels, suspendies and a bra..." Too easy, but only because it's too, too appropriate.

While the story depresses me (I guess he'd rather be dead than doing "womens chores"?), that Python reference just made my day. Thanks.

If this really worked, you should transplant more organs from women into men. Then maybe we would help more around the house and be better spouses. You need to get more women on the surgical transplant teams. Maybe have forced transplants. Genetically alter us to become better men. Yeah, that's the ticket.

Also, now that the lumberjack is sort of part woman, does this mean his boss can pay him about 20% less than the other guys and not take him seriously at work?

WOW! As a woman who has never preferred housework, now I see, I just need to get the kidney of a woman(preferably, one who prefers housework).

On the other hand I don't particularly care for "heavy drinking sessions" so what else can I do to ruin a kidney.

All I can say is, too bad it wasn't a brain transplant. He's clearly in need of a new one.

Well, then, everyone in my household is getting a new chick kidney. This place is a mess. Or maybe lumberjack kidneys -- our peach trees need major pruning and we have a stash of hard liquor we've never touched. If we had one of each, we'd be unstoppable, I tell you.

Eastern Europe is not exactly up to speed on the whole gender equality thing. Communism helped get women into the workplace, but it did nothing to change attitudes. Of course, I'm not sure attitudes in the Balkans have changed since the 1300s. It was probably the worst in Romania when women were forced to have children for the glory of the nation.

Jessica,

I'm geeky enough to know that the picture above is NOT from Monty Python's Flying Circus as it was aired on the BBC, but instead from an episode of Flying Circus the Pythons created for a German television station. So in that still, Micheal Palin is singing the lumberjack song in German. Do I get a special dorky prize?

What a bunch of gullible retards you are. The story is a hoax, 24sata is a POS that specializes in amazing crop circle/ufo incidents, women bitten by 2-headed dogs etc. and 90% of it are pictures so that morons reading it don't get confused by such difficulties like polysyllabic words. And ananova.com, LOL, you might as well get your news from I-heard-it-from-this-guy-whose-friends-aunt-was there.com.
Nymphalidae, get informed about what you are writing, it's not Rumania, it's Croatia and it's not f***ing Bukurest it's Osijek. Stop writing ignorant nonsense.
We had female presidents, state secretaries, etc. for decades, a CEO from Croatia was ranked 2nd in top European female executives couple of years ago, Noted women composers, writers, painters for couple of centuries back. Not to ramble on, name me a US president who was female and/or non-white or, hell, just not a WASP. 'cept Kennedy.

hey OMG, if you really thought that we took this story seriously, then it's not us who are the "gullible retards." feminists like to have a good laugh too, asshole.

OMG what culture are you from that it is acceptable to use the word "retard" for namecalling? I guess you've never known any special-needs kids, to realize the lack of sensitivity that conveys, like having homosexual friends has shown me how ignorant calling something gay can be. If you want people to hear what you're saying, don't distract us with offensive and inappropriate slurs against innocent people -- because I'm so sidetracked by that now, that I have no idea what you were even complaining about.
